Joe Barnes

Graduated from Camberwell UAL in 2024 with a BA in Painting, His work explores the contrast between old and the new; Between ruin and plasticity, control and nature. These themes are often represented through a reduction of the painted surface - covering, scratching and engraving into the exterior - reflecting ideas of pattern, recollection and loss. With the aim of highlighting the conflict and unease created by urban landscapes.
